Danny Thomas was an American comedian born on January 6, 1912, and died on February 6, 1991. He was best known for his role in the comedy "Make Room for Daddy". Danny Thomas was born in Dearborn, Michigan. Danny Thomas is the stage name of the actor, his real name is Amos Jacobs. Later he took the stage name, which consists of the names of his two brothers, Danny and Thomas. The Jacobs family frequently moved from place to place. For a long time, the boy lived in Toledo and Rochester. His acting career started in the 1930s. During that time, the United States experienced the Great Depression. Thomas already had a family and a child, so he needed money desperately. Sometimes their family was on the verge of poverty, and Danny had to do the most boring and menial jobs on radio and television. One day, by chance, a beginning actor was invited to try working in one of the prestigious nightclubs. Danny liked this offer. Currently, this hospital is one of the largest research centers in the United States studying cancer.
In 1991, Danny Thomas passed away due to lung dysfunction. One of his major projects remained St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where he worked until the last days of his life.
