Biography of Patti Davis

Patti Davis, an American actress and writer, was born on October 21, 1952 in Los Angeles, USA. Growing up in a public and well-known family, she gained attention from the press and people due to her father's position as the 41st President of the United States, Ronald Reagan. Despite the constant scandals with her father, Patti pursued her dream of becoming a professional actress, which caused conflicts within the family. Her conservative father, who was resistant to change, often expressed disapproval towards her openness and innovative views on life. Patti Davis was never against abortion, supported the LGBTQ+ community, and advocated against nuclear weapons. She openly expressed her views to the press, often putting her father in an uncomfortable position.

In July 1994, Patti Davis made provocative actions, including posing nude on the cover of Playboy magazine. In the 1970s, she was in a close relationship with Bernie Leadon, a musician from the band "Eagles." They collaborated on the composition "I Wish You Peace." In the late 1970s, Davis appeared in several films, mostly in supporting roles. In the early 1980s, she participated in shows such as "The Love Boat," "CHiPs," and "Fantasy Island."

In 1984, Patti Davis married her yoga instructor, Paul Grilley, but they divorced after six years. Later on, her relationship with her parents became sentimental and touching. Upon learning of her father's Alzheimer's disease, Patti wholeheartedly made efforts to regain trust and became very religious. She spent most of her time near her family.

During this period, Patti Davis discovered her talent for writing. She authored books such as "Home Front," "Deadfall," "A House of Secrets," "Bondage," and "Two Cats and the Woman They Own." In 1992, she released her autobiography, "The Way I See It: An Autobiography."
